Some of the best guitar you’ll ever hear. Too bad the production stinks. Sounds like a blanket of static was laid over every note of Frank’s guitar on Runnin Wild. Don’t know how that tune could have gotten out of the studio like that.

    Nothing like Juggernaut production wise.

  2. I’m a big Frank Marino fan since the 80’s. Frank has such a special sound, soo boogy and rock: excellent.

If you want to get to know his music better than buy this CD.

This is F.Marino’s best album (=heaviest) and still makes part of my Top 10 metal records ever and for me is in fact the best album ever made by a canadian musician. His guitar playing is fabulous, really outstanding and fits in ALL of the songs. For me Frank is the #1 guitar playing in the world and no one has yet beaten him in this area!

This is one of the most under-rated recordings of all time.

If it was released under a different package and presentation, it would have been considered one the greatest guitar albums of all time.

This was Marino’s attempt at going full out. The 60’s jazz-rock, Hendrix feel, (adapted to match modern times) is gone.

Marino has not said kind things about this recording. It was a one-time effort.

Marino was probably embarrassed by the record company’s decision to have a “cheesy” front cover and “poser” back cover, making him look like shallow hair metal performer.

People viewing this recording, but not listening to it, may have received the same message as well, as it did not sell that well.

The next recording Juggernaut, (a brilliant recording none-the-less), returned to the jazz rock/Hendrix feel.

By the way, why does Amazon include a ‘NO’ in ‘was this review helpful to you?’. People are only human and don’t like opinions that differ from themselves, thus the ‘NO’ makes it too easy express such displeasure.

Are they trying to discourage negative reviews, hence not purchase the CD. Such reviews only help a person in not being dissatisfied a product that received positive reviews
