Description
Nightclub dancing incorporates two very different styles. The first is fast, freestyle dancing that is done to rock or disco. At clubs, dances, and parties people move to the pulsing beat for hours. It’s a great release and very good exercise. The other nightclub style is slow dancing. You move around the dance floor turning and swaying in each other’s arms. Vicki Regan teaches dancing the way she learned, step by step, one move at a time. Everything is carefully explained and demonstrated for both men and women. You’ll start with the basics, then work your way up to combinations and moves that are easy to learn, but are very impressive on the dance floor. You’ll learn in your own home, at your own convenience, and at your own pace. If you didn’t learn a step perfectly the first time simply rewind the tape. You can practice alone, with a partner, or invite a group of friends. It’s good exercise and great fun. If you’re a beginner, ten minutes into this tape you’ll be saying, “I can dance!” Vicki Regan has danced on Broadway and in the movies, and was National and North American Ballroom and Latin Dance Champion. She has taught many people including other dance teachers and ballroom competitors. Ron De Vito, Vicki’s teaching partner, is also an acclaimed Broadway dancer and a former National Ballroom Champion.

The disco dancing they show is so outdated even for the early 90s. It is the worst tape I have ever bought. I thought they looked like fools flaring their arms about while two stepping! Definitely not worth the money!

All you can dance DVDs are the best. Fun, simple and step by step. So far the best dance teaching DVD.

OK, so disco is dead. Who cares? I bought this video because I am fat, fifty-two and have as much rhythm as a truckload of pots and pans bouncing down a rocky slope. I needed something to teach me just to move!
This video starts with just flexing your knees in rhythm. The most complicated step is stepping from side to side to a beat. Dancers with any experience at all will want to move on to a different dance video. Buy this one if you want a little gentle exercise while learning to move your body in time.
After practicing the moves here, you could probably dance in an emergency and come off looking halfway decent. More importantly, this video will get you ready for your second dance or exercise video. Enjoy.

This is a good video for people who do not know how to dance at all. It goes very slow. The title is sort of deceiving because when I think of disco I picture “Saturday Night Fever”. This is not even close. The dance moves in this video are slow. I was looking for something with more speed.

not worth buying it. Shows some outdated steps which you already do naturally. Nothing to learn.
